Buddy Is Our Excuse For Having No Company

I am not tempted to invite company We have been taken hostage by a pony puppy He chews up everything including mattresses. How can we invite someone who likes dogs here? He will sleep with them, and he is heavy. He likes patting you in the face with his enormous paw. How can we invite someone who dislikes dogs? They would have to gingerly step over his leavings. Shoes, pencils, bones, toys, dog chews, spatulas. Buddy can open doors with his face He has proven that often enough He is a great excuse; we live quietly and happily. My husband gets to watch his nine tv sets And I get to write poetry and paint And no one feels the need to come here. Nirvana!

Hello Caren, that is a hug puppy you have. I do not think you will have company to spend the night. Merry Christmas. Hugs.

Hello Caren, a Great Dane and German Shephard! Wow! That is a huge dog. Does this dog sleep anywhere he wants? Enjoy your dog. Hugs.

He is enormous! Takes a flying leap from the couch and pins me to the recliner all the time. We adore him. A cross between a great dane and a German Shepherd.

He is the new king here unless Joe gets in a mood to show him who the big dog is. He chases him and Buddy jumps on my LAP or hides behind me pushing me out of my she-cliner.
