Bucket List

I thought I made a bucket list
Of all the things I didn’t want to resist
I went to California and saw the ocean
Travelled to New York City to see the commotion
I hiked the cup and saucer trail
Made it all the way up without fail
Went to see Bob Dylan sing
Saw Bruce Springsteen in the spring
Bought a camper by the lake
Made it my summer home till winter break
But there’s one thing left to do
And that is to get sober too
I find this hardest of them all
Each time I try I tend to fall
I got four days now clean
Drugs is what I mean
I found a sponsor today
And hopefully with her I’ll stay
So yes there’s more I want to see
But first I need to be drug free
