Brunch
being lactose
intolerant
and lazy
no milk
for my
morning cereal
eating it dry
from the
box
when younger
and still lazy
i read that
from puberty
until average
age of death
a man will
spend more
then several
months in
front of
a mirror
shaving
so i
being lazy
agreed with
myself and
let a beard
grow knowing
i could spend
that extra time
more worthwhile
even sleeping
now older
waking from
a deep but not
Rumpelstiltskinish
sleep just another day
comb my growth
and have the same
breakfast but while i
brush my teeth i see
pieces of granola
nesting in my
chin hairs
there they shall
stay to keep
them for a
snack
before
lunch
