Brothers and Enemies

You are never guaranteed
tomorrow
We are all just ticking time
bombs in our hearts that
become hollow
We as humans terrorize one
another
But deep down inside we are all
brothers
East, West, North, South
We seem to be all enemies
somehow
Bullets and bombs fly through
the air
As innocent people scurry in
panic and terror
Bodies fall the the ground
And when the dust clears the
battlefield will have no sound
Just metal bullet shells ringing
along the ground
And so called “victory” will be
found
There is no victory in war just
death of fellow brothers
When will the arguments and
threats end with one another?
It’s True, When the rich wage
war, it’s the poor who die
War leaders at home dont shed
a tear as families of lost
soldiers cry.
lettes to the door are sent
reading M.I.A
How many will never see there
father or brother or sister again
How many M.I.A and death
letters must be sent to see
That there is nothing different
between you and me
