Brother Please

So what's good for you is not for me
Brother please
This day and at my age
I will close the chapter and burn your page
With no hurt feelings, tears, or rage

So, you think I'm blind to your despicable deeds
Brother please
I will continue to fulfill your every need
While your ego I creatively feed
Planting my own painful seeds
In the end it's your heart that bleeds

Brother please
As you go about your normal routine
Thinking I'm clueless behind the scenes
Know that I am far from green
Realize I am a queen
Both my mind and body are mean
I am an asset to any team
