Brother

Ive missed you brother, Since you left this earth. Somehow I make it through If I'd have known The pain you were hiding I'd have carried that load with you I'd give anything For a moment more To hear you laugh again To see you walk Through that door With that goofy grin Time is nothing Just a thief Stealing every second Leaving nothing But memories and tears I know cannot be reckoned The bond we have Is much too strong To ever become broken There's never been More truthful words Written down or spoken As days waste away Melt into years As time marches on Ill honer your memory Little brother Until my own life's gone. You have my word, All of them!! Jeremie Cooper 08/25/2023
