Broom

I passed a store that just sold brooms
On Granville Isle, B.C.
Two sisters weave them in Vancouver
For their company.

I marveled at the many styles
In varied shapes and sizes
That many folk no longer use
As home life modernizes.

I rarely use a broom myself
But, swept up by temptation,
I bought a mini version
As a kitchen decoration.

Oh My Gosh. Right now ilene, all I can think about is how awesome people would think this is on a morning talk show. This one is a total gem. Swept, and a kitchen decoration. You are a joy. <3

Now you've got yourself a 'museum piece,' so to speak. :) gw
