Broken Words

Tearing time into a token
broken words of wisdom spoken

on a cinder closely cleaving
burning on as you are leaving

brush me off your sleeve like powder
must I scream a little louder?

Can't you hear me ,can't you feel me?
ribbons black as you unreel me.

all the visions in my head
of everything you did and said

now you laugh and say goodbye..............
don't turn around to watch me die.
