Broken Wings
thoughts I could have said
that don't mean a thing
under a full moon
with the passion it brings
in the cold winter sky
that will turn into spring
as you move on
to a future more green
the feelings I felt
just a one-sided thing
a bird that can't fly
with her broken wings
