Broken Shards
i was once broken and shattered
now i am whole again
i was once all torn and tattered
but now im better then i ever been
i can see my future in your eyes
i finally found my purpose
in my heart your love lies
no longer do i feel loveless
all my life i have been searching
and now i have found the one
no longer will i be hurting
i feel your embrace warmer then the sun
because she was once just like me
now i can see it in your eyes
the calming sensation of the sea
and now my love in your heart lies
more time i spend with you i began to feel
the closeness me and you share
and as our hearts began to heal
the more and more i began to care
now in your eyes i began to see
the closeness of a once broken girl and me
what was once two broken shards
are now two close hearts
