Broken Promise
You made a promise and I trusted you with my heart,
You promised love and I gave you my life.
When you said help and cried,
I rushed to be by your side.
When I held out my arms into them you rushed,
Held me oh so tight.
But now I sit at night losing my mind,
Crying till the daylight comes.
You say I’m silly feeling this sad,
When I say you don’t need me;
That I’m crazy,
But I know you no longer feel the same.
If it’s time for me to go,
Take this as true;
I’ll always love you.
