Broken Parts

I am part of me dreaming
Incessantly feeling
Escapement of silent falls
Escaping my prison walls

I am part of coloured skies
Watching the terrified
Returning to fields of woe
Sleeping in fear of snow

A part of the sun at night
Moon of the early light
Fading from demon swarms
Rising for angel storms

A part of my belief
Torn between my own grief
Hiding from broken glass
Creeping from shadows past

I am part of my own lie
Paintings and words can’t die
Immortal but too ashamed
Fear forever is my name
