Broken Hearted No Longer
You cried and locked yourself away
In a dark and lonely place
Never letting someone in
To avoid heartache again
He broke your heart and let you down
When he was caught running around
With a love that wasn't you
Believing that his heart was true
You crawled up inside a shell
Into pieces your heart fell
Nightmares of a love gone wrong
Made you weak--No longer strong
Resisting anybody knew
Trying to get close to you
Left you in a deep despair
Escaping those who really care
A miracle needed to occur
So your heart could finally soar
And be happy once again
Not looking back at where it's been
Soon this miracle you'd find
Repairing all the cracks inside
That's been hurting every day
Three words make it go away
Sincerely saying "I love you"
A light is finally shining through
