Broken Hearted
You left me with no explanation,
With no answers for my heart,
You left and broke the promises,
That we would never be apart,
So now I sit here all alone,
With these feelings left unsaid,
They cloud my mind and break my thoughts,
These memories in my head,
Soon I know that they will be gone,
But doesn't seem like soon enough,
I loved the fact that we were in love,
But if I had known it would be so rough,
I would gladly do it all over again,
And go through the heartbreak,
Because in you I found a friend,
That without love I could not make,
My mind will soon be over you,
But my broken heart never will,
Maybe it's the fact you were my first love,
Or the fact that I love you still.
