Broken Dream

Empty room with no windows
just things made out of stones.

A broken dream reflecting images
from another world.

A tree atop of a wide cobbled stairs,
leading to afar place.

White pages left empty no words
to describe my aching heart.

No rainbow, no colours just a grey sky.

Waking up is a relief from this
broken dream.

Hello Ali, it's been a while since I've seen you on line. Hope you are well? about your poem: The imagery is deep, and sad... I don't like the feel of broken dreams.... every line is well done,,,always~ LINDA
