Broken Bough

Heavy rain is falling down
On the baked soil
Making every tree a clown
Showering turmoil
Lightnings crack the sky and thunder
Shakes the window pane
Where are you this time I wonder
Could you stop the rain?
But you have enough of yours
And you wouldn’t mind
Rain supports your roses growth
In the dead of night
Rain broke down one bough, and so
Languidly it hangs
Still its leaves are green and grow
As if saying thanks..
