Broken

What do you say to a heart
That’s been broken
Or a soul who’s been put
Through so much pain

What do you say to a man
Who feels foolish
And feels he has nothing to gain

I tried so hard just to love you
To prove that a heart could be true
But the harder I tried
The more you pushed me aside
Until now I feel
Lonely, broken and blue
