Broken

I am sitting here just listening Listening to the brutality Of all that you are confessing You say it is your love That you are offering But all I can see is your need to manipulate And all I can hear is your words disintegrate As they carelessy spill from your mouth I keep waiting in the dark Its not all that different From the chambers of your heart Sometimes I think I can still hear it beating I should find this moment so liberating But it is my guilt that keeps me confined If only I could forget with the passing of the time
