His memory may originate from a single thought, Of event, or place, perhaps person he's known. A life circumstance that his mind's trap caught, Or a transitory recall of a seed he has sown. As memories of his past, dwindle, one by one, He's left 'amongst thoughts irrigated by tears. He shall not know of a lasting thing he's done, For his sight projects not beyond earthly years.
