Bring back, oh do bring back, those peaceful summer nights! When the world was not dark, but ever so still and twinkling bright. Where eating foods of choice, was not a politically offensive sin. Nor was any color of skin evil, determined by politically, biased spin. Those days when we feared no dastardly disease. Nor faces, mask covered, to make us all feel so ill at ease. Not one human would ever dare say..that you be killed? Simply because you chose no inoculation at personal will. Bring back, oh do bring back, the blessings of motherhood! The family picnic,on a plaid blanket in the emerald, shaded wood. Where there were no cell phones, distracting us from each other. And we were smiling, learning mankind are all sisters and brothers. Our children are ours, to no government will they ever belong! They are our boys or girls, how simple a message, and a soul song? Bring us back to our senses, where we know the climate we cannot control. Best we control ourselves, and our children in freedom’s glorious glow!! 7/28/2023

Pangie, that is an outstanding poem. Flat out truth. Yet I wonder. What will become of the young folks raised to believe all of this total nonsense? Keep Rolling, xx.

Thank you, RJ. I think you can already see what is happening.Even in thoughts in poetry here. Loathing this land, the Bible is considered a lie! Virtue signaling so popular in the world is here, also. I think poets can mane a difference for a better world. People here. Have children and can te ach them valuable truths. For one thing…to be the sex they were born?there is only mam and woman. They see all we do. If we loathe this country, so will they. I appreciate your concerns. I share them. Posting anoth et lat er. Today. I like this one, too. Pangiexx.

This is so pinpoint of a poem on the yuck being, on purpose, thrown at the masses by those monied monopolists who are near their end. What a nice selection of contrasts in your story that really says it all. Poems like this should be on the news, not the stuff that they try to head fake us with.

You just made my.day! I write with purpose, trying to wake the sleeping masses who are unconscious of the dance of monopolists, the drug industry, the insane climate control freaks, not realizing the point is to have all countries under totalitarian control. Freedom of speech is quickly going out the door.the fear is here. Poets terrified to express themselves politically, lest they not be read. We must follow a leftist chain of else or beware! Of what? Of being you….!! I am afraid not of dissent or massive disapproval to write to be liked? That is no prize to me. This was indeed a very good poem.it’s not chock full of lies as CNN et al put out. But~this is a microcosm of their audience here …Americans who are lied to 24/7. We all better wake up as our freedoms slip away.Thank you for writing in thoughtful, complete, sentences, it is a sign you respect others and are well educated, Pangie

Don’t say that, my brother. Your fine children and mine, will never bow to insanity. It is you know, insanity, and has powerful, spiritual implications. Thank you for being part of my life Pangie.

Hello beautiful soul and poet! It’s up to us to put the brakes on the insanity of technology. We are human beings. We are not things. We are far more. I know you understand that. Wishing you a terrific day.. Pangie

So much has changed from those halcyon days, a simpler life with values. And while the world wasn't perfect, and never will be, things like indulgent selfies and invasive tech wasn't even a twinkle in our imaginations. Restoring our values and re-setting our moral compasses will definitely make a difference as many learn to again value and take pride in a lifestyle that is genuine and moral. Thanks for this gem. Blessings to you!

Sam, how meaningful your comment is! For some reason, you were in my thoughts when I was posting this!L the whole world needs a moral compass. Not one set by the government. High tech? I wrote plenty on it. Selfies? Oh, please, enough of that. When a poet here wrote literally, that all uninoculated should be killed, he was calling out for the death of poets here, as well…Not all have been. It was their choice…we must give others space. Never attack another poet! Move on. Living a life of values and morales is what distinguishes us from animals. Your comment, Sam, is food for our souls…honored by your read and comment……with my respect, Pangie
