Brilliant But Contemptuous
He poured his heart into the stock market
Had a knack for knowing when to invest
Tight with funds; should have had a straightjacket
Somehow he managed to avoid arrest
Passed a man living on a cardboard box
The tin cup still empty as he passed by
Though he spent his life trying to outfox
This chance for redemption he did defy
