Brighter Days Ahead
Sometimes successes come easy
Wins effortlessly landing in our lap
Other times it’s an endless struggle
Feeling stuck in a never ending trap
Comfortable to keep on keeping on
Wishing circumstances improve
Too scary to think about changing
So just stick in the same ol' groove
But courage beginning to bubble up
Readying to break free from our rut
Know once we finally figure things out
No one can stop us when we strut
We willingly walk through the darkness
In order to blissfully bask in the glory
Confidently coming out the other side
Ready to write the next chapter in our story
