Brighter

Daylight goes, and darkness glows.
A weary head, nodding asleep.
An empty bed, the stars weep.
Eyes that have seen the writing,
Keep you alive, persistent nail biting.
An answer to prayers, a long way aways.
A problem with layers, hidden from the suns rays.
An omnipotent being, dwelling within,
Another hope freeing, written with pen.
I only wanted a belief, to show me a way.
The path of relief, is now forever at bay.
A depression pending, a soul already sick.
A world is ending, a curse that will stick.
Confined to a darkness, a face so evil.
Shown to me, a plan of upheaval.
I can find the road, the road that leads home.
I can find a joy stowed, yet I continue to roam.
The days are getting brighter, the darkness subsides.
A heavy task gets lighter, as the angel bides.
I will find the journey of a new beginning, a future I plan on winning.
