Good question, Gershon. I remember the old 5 & dimes (which dates me I reckon). Sad, sad, sad that places are closing and even sadder that people are being laid off from jobs. Bob

It is sad. We are already relics of a long-gone era at this point, Bob. COVID has merely accelerated the transition to a Click-and-Shop existence. Our grandchildren will never know the difference. ~ As the World Turns, Gershon

Or Covid? Probably some combination. Mom and Pops have been closing, as have many restaurants and barbers/salons. I wonder how many ex-salespeople are now driving vans for Amazon? GW, GW = Good Write, Gershon Wolf ~ my fair lady

Amazon's certainly the Big Fish on the Block now... As for COVID, it only makes Amazon's job easier, eh? :)
