Brick and Mordar

And it hurts to think you never cared
All I asked was that you would be there
But it's easier to play the game

I gave you all of me, I'm such a fool
Cause what I want, it never follows through
It's nothing new

I hope you got what you wanted
Did you get all that you needed?
Cause now I'm just another name
On your list
Just another notch on your bed-post
And you're just another scar on my heart
Another layer to my wall

Your words were
Nothing more than letters
Your actions nothing more than moves
I wish that I could be like you
Life would be much easier
With a heart that's made of stone

Between your beautiful lies I lost the truth
I would change it all if I could choose
I've never felt so used

Despite your promises deep down I know
I would hear them say "I told you so"
But the pain I cannot show

I hope you got what you wanted
Did you get all that you needed?
Cause now I'm just another name
On your list
Just another notch on your bed-post
And you're just another scar on my heart
Another layer to my wall

Your words were
Nothing more than letters
Your actions nothing more than moves
I wish that I could be like you
Life would be much easier
With a heart that's made of stone
(Repeat 1x)
