Bribery the Evil- Doer

It presents itself as being beautiful
Adorning its lips that they may appear graceful
Even the wise declare it is greatly helpful
But till eternity it remains highly decietful

Man's eyes it would blindfold
There consciousness to realse it might have sold
Promising all to reward in tenfold
Yet sending them out into the cold

In the daytime it does one no good
Now it covers its face with a hood
As fire overshadows some wood
Be careful lest you eat its poisonous food

It disrobes man of his honesty
And regards not the rich and his majesty
Love it not you who befriend modesty
For it surely treads the path of dishonesty
