1st Stanza (female solo):
Sleep naught, deep thought.
He’s late, I wait.
Me here, with fear.
He’s there, I bare.
Refrain (female trio):
Breathe deep, love keep

2nd Stanza (solo):
Walk floor, once more.
Where can he be?
No call, that’s all
Pick up the phone.
Make drink, just think.
Read book, just look.

The clock, tick tock.
Take pill, be still.

Wait long, what’s wrong. (solo)
