Breathe Me In

What I would give to have you in my arms To shelter you from all of the harm Not the harm of others but of that from yourself I would give the world to you If only you knew If only you knew what you were doing How can I make you see Why is it so hard to comprehend they ask They don't understand like we do They can't see like we see I want to shelter you from your own storms I want you to feel I want you to taste and to smell I want life for you but not the life you want I want more for you Just walk through that open door Its not locked, it's open Come in, breathe, inhale Breathe the life I have given you Reap the words I say to you Take all of my life and breathe me in Trust me when you fall I will catch you I will never let you fall I will always be here Waiting... Waiting... Come...live...for I will shelter you I give to you life the life you so deserve My dying life is yours to breathe in To carry on, to live strong... You my love; you are strong...

You sound like an angel, one to shelter during a storm. Emotional poem hope he who you are writing for knows how much you care!
