Breath of Life
It is the golden, waking breath of dawn,
That kisses shadows till the night is gone,
A quiet hum within the rushing stream,
Turns a moment into a living dream.
I love the rugged, winding road of years,
The sudden laughter and the gentle tears,
How autumn leaves must fall to feed the root,
And silent winters ripen hidden fruit.
It’s the pulse of the heartbeat, fierce and free,
A love for all that is, and is to be,
In every breath, a universe I hold,
A tender story waiting to unfold.
For life is not the breath, but moments taken,
In wonder, by the sunlit world awaken.
I love the journey, chaotic and divine,
I love the world, which makes me mine.
