Breaking Up With Pd

The time has come my dear for us to part
It was not my intention to hurt your heart
Our goals and views are just to diverse
I scratch the surface but you totally immerse
So many people love you, I feel I can't compete
You'll always be the driver and I in the back seat
Abundance of comments and praise for you awaits
While I wither in the shadows your limelight creates
I promise to protect you from crazy saboteurs
Please remember my heart remains with yours
