Breaking Up

Making up
seems so much easier
than breaking up
the fact remains
we're only fooling
ourselves
Knowing saying goodbye
is hard to do
second chances
is only an reason
to hold on to something
that's gone
Knowing it's wrong
refusing to let go
despite the history
once love is gone
it's not coming back
Memories won't mend 
the pain
a blind man can see
it's time to walk away
