before the music
started playing
i should have
asked if you
wanted to
join me
on

the dance floor
because before 
i could ask
some one
else asked
you the
same

question i had been
rehearsing even
the night before
and he was
wearing a
plaid look
ing like a

dinner table's
table cover 
and you
must of
said of
course
because

before
me you
two were
dancing
the carpet
off of the
dance floor
