Breaking News
Just looking at the news tonight my heart began to fall apart
Distraught by everything in sight, where does one even start
Through the tears I still see much, such a suffering they bare
Oh how each story can touch in seeing how life really isn't fair
And so for them I begin to pray in stitching or my own mending
For we can not know God's Way or of His Love being unending
Just wanting the heart to heal knowing I could be in that place
As in my heart you can feel, then so realizing that's God's Grace
So I open back my eyes and I praise Jesus in each one's name
And with these new yielding cries as in the Holy Spirit's Flame
Praising our Lord for every Blessing with each breathe I take
For in Faith there is no guessing but one's heart can still break
But do you feel the Lord in "your heart" ask Him to come near
There must be a start for it is later when things become clear
But you watch that news and then you look at your situation
We all have so much to lose for God truly Blessed this Nation
