Breakfast For None

I'm crying in my cornflakes,I just dont know what to do.
I know- I lost my temper and ended up hollering at you.
So now you will not speak to me, I guess, this I do deserve,
but you need to know I'm sorry, my temper I will curb.
Last night was my mistake,I should have bit my tongue,
It's just I was so angry-it seems my brain went numb.
So I'm crying in my cornflakes,my tears don't seem to stop.
I've got to make you see- my words are not some prop.
Ive thrown away my breakfast-salt soaked- so full of tears.
If only you could hear me- I don't mean with your ears.
Please feel how my heart beats- whenever your around-
It's you that makes it flutter - It's you who makes it pound.
So tommorrow- I'll make pancakes,no cornflakes, not for me.
                     I know you'll understand--
                                            I know somehow you'll see.

                                                                                RJM2011
