Break Up

Respectfully, I'm about to be disrespectful because my feelings are hurt, being treated like dirt, and stepped on for the last time It's okay because I know how to turn dirt into soil and plant growth, flowers from the lessons learned Your savagery won't be used for your advantage this time On a heartbreak, heartache, heart attack tour but this time my soul cries happy tears You can be sad and cry since your footstool has been removed Respectfully, when you fall, I won't be there to pick you up, because I end up getting hurt too When you reminisce about what you lost over my love letters, I hope you get a paper cut That cuts deeper than you sliced me open I opened up the home of my mind and you put your muddy shoes all over everything white Now little dark footprints are creeping through my thoughts, and you get mad at my villain arc like it's not what you taught me I'm sorry to everyone who feels the residual residue from my salty tears But hey, everything tastes better with a little seasoning right Respectfully, you can eat your heart out and kick rocks Don't ask me to kick it anymore because you're lonely Your independence is showing and everyone can see it's only pretending Guess I'll give you credit for being such a great actor because you had me fooled Or was I so broken you didn't see a person just a tool Well, I'm exciting stage left, I'm not going to wait for you to walk out my life only to return two days later asking for a sequel I would say goodbye forever but that would be too nice There isn't anything good about your intentions So, just bye forever p.s. your fake smile has taught be how to laugh about the truth...
