Break the Mirror

Break The Mirror

Break the mirror
With a crack
Rejoicing as the line goes flat,
Leaving bones and chains behind
Keeping nothing but my mind,
A world of sorrow
Of blood and bones
I no longer call my home,
Instead I’m golden
Green’s and blues
A fire with a pastel hue
I’m not above or down below
I fall like rain I float like snow
I’m with the river and the stars
I’ve left behind all of my scars.
Time doesn’t break
And it doesn’t end
I’m closer than you think
My friend.
