Brandi's Cheer

"Not too sad-bad a day," I sigh,
"Not too".
When then I cry "boo-hoo"
One wonders why.
I tell thee.

When Brandi's cheer's not here
There's pairs of tears near drops,
And no thing sings or wings
Till Brandi's sadness stops.

Boo-hoo, boo-hoo, all night,
Nor sight of light or height,
Till Brandi's lips grow strong
And throw the sky some song!

It's my niece, Danielle. Glad you like the poem. Thanks for the period placement. Brian

"Not too." Period should be inside quotation mark. (Sorry, it's the proof-reader in me.) ****************************************** Is this about your little girl? I really loved this poem, it spoke to me. What more can you ask from a few well chosen words? Love the way you express yourself. Danielle
