Brand New Year
A brand new year!
But my heart still peers, to the past…
I thought I have had my last, flash of you in my head…
The warm cozy friend in my bed, won’t be again…
What have I done to deserve such sin, with thoughts of you...?
Picturing us as two, maybe I’m going insane…
Can’t control the sayings in my brain, the inner voice to great…
This can’t be a man’s fate, to have such sorrow and heart ache…
But this cycle will break, for it is a brand new year!
