Branches of Frozen Trees
Branches of frozen trees have beautiful frost ready to drop like knives aiming for hearts
Your heart skips a beat, yet
Better yet
Mine never skipped a beat
I hear a thud thud thud
yet I feel a thud thud thud
confusingly similar
I happen to access the threshold
To see a single frosted rosebud
I hear feet running away with more than poetry can say with words saying a familiar thud thud thud,
Branches of frozen trees have
beautiful frost ready to drop yet
that sure is an ugly rosebud at this having forsaken door
" I hope whoever left this falls squarely in the mud with this ugly rosebud at my door!"
Branches of frozen trees have
beautiful frost ready to drop...
I hear more than a
thud, thud, thud, thud
yet bestow thou be conscious for a
drop ready of frost so beautifully designed to have trees frozen of branches thoughtfully in mind
