Brakable Heart

I can’t make you love me.
I can’t make you stay when you want to be free.
I wish you could see the tears as you walk away.
I can’t make you mean the things you say.
I can’t think about you each and everyday.
These memories seem to get in the way.
The best thing I can do is walk away.
Deep down I know I meant every word I say.
Denile is all I can betray.
I say I never loved you anyway.
I can feel my heart brake with each breath I take and in every move I make.
When I see you I know my heart speaks true.
I can’t descise the hurt in my eyes.
My heart won’t lie.
I fight so hard not to cry.
