Notes About The Poem

Brainwashed

A ghost
    of his old self.
       A stranger
     in his own life.
       A lost soul.

    His self-image, 
     broken down.
     His behavior,
and personal beliefs,
drastically changed.

     A switcheroo 
     of his values;
        new ones
     replace the old.
A young man, erased.
       
      He's nothing
     he was before.
      Programmed.
      Brainwashed.
  A walking tragedy.
