Boys and Girls

If I were a Child
What would I be?
I'd be very precious
For all to see.

I'm a Boy or Girl
Daughter or Son
I'm at the age
Where I've just begun.

You'll find I have
A wonderous glow
It's Faith in you
And also Hope.

Now look into my eyes
And I'll bet you see
The Love I hold
Is to you from me

We are told to become like little children. I enjoyed this thoughtful piece. You might like my poem "Boy oh Boy and a Girl".
