Boy Playing In Dirt

I saw a child in the dirt
with just a stick in hand
drawing images on the dusty land
He spit to make a little mud
and spit to make some more
with that mud in both hands
smeared onto his face galore
He smiled and giggled to himself
happy and content as he could be
just a little kid playing outside in the dirt
without a piece of technology.
