Box
Don't tie me in a box just let me be free
Don't define me by definition just let me be me
Don't compare me to others as I may not reach the bar
Just let me be me and be who you are
You may ask me to jump but I won't ask how high
Stop trying to limit me, let me reach for the sky
Please don't label me as you don't know my ingredients
The criticizing you do, to be honest it hurts
Don't lock me in a box and hide the key
Let me live my life, just let me be me
Stop looking at my faults as they don't define my personality
Stop trying to mould me into your clone I'm not meant to be
Stop trying to discourage me if its not in your plans
Please don't tell me no, when I think I can
Let me make mistakes without always feeling your wrath
Let me walk along my own destined path
Not the one you want or wanted to walk
Please don't silence me when I need to talk
Don't tie me in a box and shut the lid on tight
Just let me be me and I think I will be alright
Stop looking at me with disgust in your eyes
Stop commenting when I fail, I can but only try
Don’t always gloat when I'm wrong as I'm occasionally right
Don't knock me down when I struggle to get strength to fight
Let me live my life and let me be me
Let me find my way in life and my final destiny
You may ask me to come but I may not follow
Please don't judge me and say my emotions are hollow
Sometimes it is ok to think outside the box I'm in
Sometimes its ok to lose, sometimes it ok to win
