Boundaries
Stretching the limits,
I have come to admit,
You just grow tired of it.
The exhilaration you get,
Wears thin after a minute,
As you start getting used to it.
No longer feeling lit,
You see the same old skit,
Forming a habit.
Chasing the rabbit,
You just gotta have it,
And go get some more.
Feeling tired and sore,
No more need to explore,
You sit in shame on the floor.
Pouring out your heart,
Is when you start,
Arising to your part.
You're really super smart,
Charting a new course,
No resistance of force.
Just love and remorse,
Learned lessons of course,
Getting back on the horse,
With boundaries to enforce.
