Bound and the Binders

To: The Mayor

From: An anonymous concerned citizen

It appears that our nation has reached a threshold of acknowledgment. The time is now
here when we must acknowledge who and what we are. We must acknowledge the root
cause of our problems at hand and address them accordingly. The truth of the knowledge of
good and evil has been a burden ever since the tribe of Adam learned to speak. It is with a
heavy heart that I lay this burden upon you, and the political, and religious leaders of our
day. The time is here and now. We must turn the hearts of the people away from their false
Gods or suffer. I pray that you accept this challenge graciously and lead us into a more
enlightened reality and out of the darkness in which we dwell. I am counting on you.
Good luck in your quest to becoming a great leader and I hope you enjoy this poem:
Bound And The Binders Surely the creator can see our world in it's state of economic woe what we need is an adequate definition of greed so we can destroy him and his hosts oh Israel think God cannot hear you pray what do you expect him to do exalt the gods of your holy days you worship them in the mighty kings name now, how can you be saved I'm afraid it might already be to late how can you be convinced to repent and turn away and hang your head in shame stiff neck were there no prophets sent to warn you here I am and what will you do do not worry I'm sure Mithras is coming Ishtar, Baal, and cupid to you just keep on praying and I'm sure they will hear you
