Bound

Bound

Stuck in between the lines
Blurring up the truth
Trapped by the memories
That seduced me in my youth

Wandering through the emptiness
Unaware of which way to turn
Lost and indecisive
Where to fizzle, where to burn

 Each destination holds its treasure
Along with a treacherous fall
And even though it seems open to me
I’m bound against the wall

Release me from my binds
Open my eyes to my life
Let me go to bleed and scream
Cry, laugh, love, be alive

I still don’t know where I’m going
What journey I should choose
Regardless of where I roam
I will win, and I will lose.
