Bottoms and Shadows
You can see bottoms and shadows
moving on the landscape everywhere
that sight moves your sane mind
and your tongue may go numb for a word
These bottoms and shadows so scattered
claim the status of humanity in their right
but the real ones who see them die of laughter
as to them it is a mockery of dreamy life
Come to this refugee camp of forgotten sorrows
many bottoms and shadows run into the nests
with enthusiastic ignorance they flock
thinking mercy, peace, liberation has arrived
Bottoms and shadows in lifeless existence
struggle to exist as the world tantalizes them
