Bottomless Pit

The pain subsided
as I lifted the drink
space still resided
deeper I still sink

Need a love to take up space
to fill that empty hole
a need to leave this place
to empty my poor soul

Waiting for some sun
to chase my rain
for that I am not the one
only I am to blame

A long game of chess
my life seems to be
lost all my pieces and caused a mess
as you can definately see

there is so much sadness in your poetry, you release all of it in your writing, but you do write with passion and how you feel. and i do enjoy reading it.
