Born of Blissful Blunder
Born of blissful blunder
My memory runs asunder
Was raised to be a man
To be doing what I can
Some times I lost my way
Was only out to play
With luck I was returned
And nobody was burned
I have even run away
Without a word to say
As a child all I’d done
Was only out of fun
Sometimes I’d go to far
Even stealing from the bar
When my parents paths had parted
For the new routes that they charted
I put the blame on me
For the losing of their glee
It took me time to learn
Was not me that ran the churn
Saddened by all the truth
And the things I found uncouth
It was time to turn around
And for me to hit the ground
I was always in a rush
To a point of being flush
They say you have to wait your turn
As our lives are live and learn
Through life I learned to wait
And even not to hate
I have always loved my parents
For they were never evil tyrants
I love and thank you mom and dad
For all the time we had
I hope its not to late
For you to read this slate
